Who we are
JoBot is run by Seventy7 AI LTD, registered in England and Wales with company number 16817620. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Our ICO registration reference is ZC065353. Contact us about anything in this policy at jobot@seventy7.ai.
What we collect and why

Your CV may include information you've chosen to add, such as your address or health or background details. Please remove anything you don't want processed.
Google user data
JoBot asks Google for your basic profile (name, email address and account ID) and the drive.file permission. That permission only lets JoBot access files it creates and files you select with Google's file picker. It can't see anything else in your Drive.
- How we use it: we read the master CV you choose, then create and update your JoBot folder, documents and application tracker.
- Where it's stored: your documents stay in your own Google Drive. We store only the account details, token and job records listed above.
- Who it's shared with: the content of your CV and job adverts is sent to OpenAI to generate your documents. We share Google user data only as needed to provide JoBot, to comply with the law, or with your permission. We don't sell it.
JoBot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and we don't use it, or allow others to use it, to train generalised AI models.
Who we share data with
We use these service providers, who may only process your data on our instructions:
- Google Cloud (hosting, database and logs) and Google Drive (your documents)
- Google Analytics (website statistics, only if you accept)
- OpenAI (AI processing of your CV and job adverts)
- Stripe (payments)
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep data
- Account and job records: until you delete your account. We then erase them within 30 days.
- Payment and tax records: for six years, as required by UK tax law.
- Technical logs: 30 days.
- Analytics data and cookies: 2 months.
- Content sent to OpenAI: OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, unless the law requires longer. It isn't used to train OpenAI's models.
- Files in your Drive: these are yours and stay there until you remove them, even after you cancel.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and you can object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. Email jobot@seventy7.ai. We'll reply within one month.
You can remove JoBot's access at any time from your Google account connections. JoBot will stop working until you reconnect it.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
Essential: one cookie keeps you signed in. It doesn't need your permission because JoBot can't work without it. We also store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't have to ask again.
Analytics (optional): if you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* on our public pages. These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. Google may process this data outside the UK. We've turned off Google's advertising features, and we don't use analytics on signed-in pages, so it never receives your CV, job adverts or Google Drive data.
If you decline, you can still use JoBot in full. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page.
Children
JoBot is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change, we'll email you before it takes effect.
