A tailored CV and cover letter for every job advert
Upload a job advert as a PDF. JoBot scores how well you fit it, then writes a tailored CV and cover letter from your own CV and saves them to your Google Drive.
How it works
- Sign in with Google. You'll need a Google account, and JoBot creates a JoBot folder in your Google Drive.
- Choose your master CV. Pick it from your Drive with Google's file picker. It can be a Google Doc, PDF, Markdown or text file.
- Upload job adverts. Add each advert to JoBot as a PDF.
- Review your documents. Your results appear in your JoBot folder, ready for you to check and edit before you apply.
What you get for each job
- A fit analysis with a match score and an honest look at where your experience falls short.
- A tailored CV. If your master CV is a Google Doc, JoBot works on a copy, so your fonts and layout stay the same.
- A cover letter written from your experience.
- A row in your application tracker, a spreadsheet in your Drive for following up on each application.
Your CV stays yours
JoBot is instructed to use only facts from your master CV. Any figure it can't find there is replaced with a marked prompt for you to check. AI can still make mistakes, so read everything before you send it.
How JoBot uses your Google account
JoBot uses Google sign-in to identify you and asks for one Google Drive permission. That permission only covers files JoBot creates and files you choose to open with it. It can't browse the rest of your Drive.
JoBot's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Your CV and job adverts are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to create your documents. They aren't used to train AI models. Read our privacy policy.
